Management control systems are necessary for planning and monitoring an organization's activities. In particular, they enable financial and non-financial objectives to be set, and the achievement of these objectives to be managed, by facilitating decision-making, analysis and control of business operations.
Presentation of the program
The aim of this short program is to introduce and apply the main management control systems used by companies to support planning, control and decision-making processes. Costing systems and management accounting, financial planning and control systems, and performance dashboards are all management control tools that will be presented and put into practice through a number of case studies.
The short program will highlight the contribution and limitations of these instruments in terms of organizational learning and operational management. Come and discuss these different analysis systems as part of the 3-day management control program offered by HEC Lausanne's continuing education center. Numerous applicable tools and concepts will be presented and applied.
