Discover the Horizon room
Particularly shaken by the health crisis, the world of education has undergone a true revolution over the past two years, and universities are no exception. Fortunately, revolution is often synonymous with innovation. Indeed, while the world has been paralyzed, initiatives to adapt have multiplied.
Imagine courses available on a platform normally dedicated to gamers? Or imagine a professor taking inspiration from influencers or youtubers to set up a video studio? Unthinkable, you might ask? But that's exactly what happened.
Starting out as individuals, the initiatives then became institutionalized and the solutions multiplied. However, technology is only useful when it serves pedagogy, and it's primarily professors who have reinvented themselves.
Online teaching
In a confined world, crowded auditoriums and morning-long classes are more complicated to organize. Replicating face-to-face teaching online is often doomed to failure. To keep the attention of the remote audience, the professor must above all..:
- Organize their tools and materials
- Adapt their teaching to the new format
- Rethink course materials
- Animate the course to maintain a participative climate
- Supervising participants differently
As a result, and to help our professors digitalize their activities, we have created a new classroom entirely dedicated to hybrid or online teaching.

Horizon Room
Project presentation
Specially designed to reproduce the dynamism and interactivity of a face-to-face course, this room - one of the first of its kind in the world of education - offers an immersive experience similar to that of a traditional classroom.
The experience is truly breathtaking! Thanks to the display of all participants, it is possible to reproduce aspects normally reserved exclusively for the face-to-face mode, such as non-verbal communication or group dynamics.
Thanks to this infrastructure, professors can free themselves from the technical complexity usually inherent in the use of audiovisual solutions of this type. They no longer need to know whether the microphone is plugged in, or juggle between several laptop windows to follow the chat while presenting their lecture. All the information appears on a single screen, and professors can finally see their participants in full view, thanks to a 6-meter-wide screen.
A fruitful collaboration
Completed in a record time of two months, this project was the fruit of a fruitful collaboration with Projection Nouvelle, a company specializing in the integration of complex audiovisual solutions. A technological project, but above all a human adventure that transcends the usual commercial relationship between customer and supplier. To achieve something that has never been done before, you need to be passionate, to want to innovate and to surpass yourself.
Systematic innovation requires a willingness to see change as an opportunity.
