The Executive Certificate (CAS) in Data Science & Management is at the crossroads between Science and Management. It is a unique program that has been built by EPFL and HEC Lausanne. Data is a strategic asset nowadays and no one can ignore it anymore. Every company needs to undertake a profound reflection on how to manage and use it effectively in order to derive added-value from it. This programme is a first step towards a major transformation that will happen in most companies, the transformation towards a data-driven entreprise. It is an opportunity to stay ahead of the competition and prepare for the future accordingly.

Individual Data Project – IDP

The capstone project of the Executive Certificate in Data Science and Management  is the “Individual Data Project”. Participants are encouraged to start the programme with a concrete “data transformation” ambition in mind (usually for their employer). They will develop their project throughout the programme with the support of HEC Lausanne – UNIL & EPFL Faculty and Experts.

Admission Criteria

The Program Management reserves the right to accept applications from individuals who have at least five years of experience in a managerial position but do not meet the requirements set out below.

Professional Experience

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience;

Academic Program

Hold a university / HES degree or experience considered equivalent by the Program Management;
