Presentation of the program

Project teams are by definition diverse: stakeholders have different functions, different roles, but also different identities (whether differences in gender, origin, language, sexual orientation, religion, or physical ability). These differences can be as much an asset to the project as a burden.

As numerous studies have shown, the benefits of a diverse team include more varied collective intelligence, better market knowledge, greater creativity and higher productivity. Therefore, to turn differences into advantages, an inclusive approach to collaboration and leadership is necessary and essential.

In addition to defining diversity, this short course aims to (1) understand the needs, challenges and obstacles of different identities, (2) develop inclusive habits of collaboration and interaction, and (3) create a work climate based on psychological safety and collective empowerment.

Learning objectives

  1. Define diversity, its issues and challenges, and identify its most important dimensions.
  2. Develop a mindset adapted to identity, cognitive and functional diversity.
  3. Develop habits of collaboration and inclusive interaction to successfully carry out projects.

Target audience

  1. Project, portfolio or program managers or stakeholders wishing to improve their skills.
  2. Managers or professionals seeking to explore a human and inclusive approach to project management.

Frequently asked questions

contact us
How do I better manage diversity in my team?

The program helps you understand the different forms of diversity present in a project: roles, backgrounds, cultures, or identities. You learn to turn these differences into assets rather than sources of tension. This sharper awareness facilitates collaboration and strengthens the quality of collective decisions.

Why can diversity become a strength?

A diverse team brings varied perspectives and a better understanding of audiences. It makes better decisions and fewer mistakes. When the environment is inclusive, creativity and collective performance can improve.

How do I avoid misunderstandings stemming from personal differences?

You work on active listening, clarity of expectations, and the quality of exchanges. The module helps you identify certain biases or common misunderstandings. This awareness allows you to adjust your approach and prevent unnecessary tension.

Is this useful even if my team already seems to be functioning well?

Yes. Even in a stable team, some differences can remain largely invisible. The program helps you deepen your understanding of relational dynamics. This mindfulness strengthens the resilience and sustainability of collaboration.

How do I adapt my leadership style to varied profiles?

You analyze your posture and the way you interact. The module helps you adjust your communication and expectations to fit different situations. This flexibility supports a more inclusive and more effective leadership style.

Is this program relevant outside of projects?

Yes. The principles of inclusion apply to any team or organization. You develop useful reference points across a variety of professional contexts. This skill strengthens your ability to collaborate in diverse environments.

How do I quickly apply these practices in my day-to-day work?

You can start by adjusting your meetings and exchanges. The program offers simple habits and tools to encourage participation and shared accountability. These incremental actions establish a more inclusive dynamic within your team.
