Leadership & sports management
The CAS in Sports Leadership & Management aims to provide Swiss and international sports leaders and managers with the management tools they need to boost the performance of their organizations.
Presentation of the program
Sport is a constantly evolving field, with rapid growth and an increasingly complex context to manage. The CAS in Sports Leadership and Management aims to provide Swiss and international sports leaders and managers with the management tools they need to boost the performance of their organizations.
The teaching method is innovative and interactive. Each module consists of a theoretical framework, the sharing of field experience, and group work on professional or personal cases. Each participant is accompanied individually by a recognized specialist in his or her sector of activity to prepare his or her personal work.
Learning objectives
- Identify and understand developments in the field of sport and its national and international context.
- Implement new management methods and tools, integrate the principles and master the tools of project management.
- Assess and adapt your leadership style and strengthen your ability to federate teams.
Target audience
- Managers and employees of public sports services (municipalities, cantons, Confederation).
- Directors and managers of sports federations and clubs, and organizers of sporting events.
- Elite athletes undergoing reconversion, executives and professionals wishing to enter the sports sector.
Program's curriculum
The open program in Leadership & sports management is a CAS designed for professionals wishing to develop new skills in parallel with their professional activity. This open program incorporates a strong participatory dimension. The fundamental notions will be presented beforehand, then supplemented and illustrated by numerous practical exercises based on real cases.
The Leadership & sports management program consists of 7 blocks . This represents 14 days spread over 4 months. That represents a total of 112 hours of teaching and about as many hours of personal work.
